Our communication courses are adapted from the Connected model, an evidence based programme for supporting professionals working with patients with cancer. The courses we deliver are designed for professionals working in any area of healthcare which involves having difficult conversations with patient and families. The course content is tailored to meet our client need.
Our courses are underpinned by evidenced based understanding of the need to rehearse communication skills and gain feedback. Our facilitators and actors are trained using quality assured methods to ensure delegates gain valuable insight into how to improve and influence interactions.

Two Day Advanced
Communication Skills Training (ACST)
This course explores communication skills and strategies in depth . Delegates spend time focusing on their personal communication challenges and goals. Skills rehearsal with positive and constructive feedback is a key element to the experience.
The individually tailored course is designed for doctors, nurses and AHP’s who wish to improve their skills in challenging conversations in clinical and professional situations.
Two facilitators and two or three actors (dependent upon client need) work with 10 delegates.
Involves experiential learning
Uses skills rehearsal to practice key skills
Is based on a learner centred agenda
Is evidenced based
Provides a brief didactic overview of issues of communication
Has proven ability to change practice.

One Day Communication Skills Training
The day introduces key concepts supporting improved communication skills in the workplace. One facilitator and one or two actors (dependent on client need) work alongside the group to explore strategies to improve effective and compassionate communication.
